PhD alumnus appointed as Head of School of Marketing in Vietnam

Vietnamese University appoints PhD alumnus from the School of Marketing and International Business as Head of School of Marketing.

Nguyen Hoang Sinh who graduated from the PhD program from SMIB, has been promoted to Head of School of Marketing at Ho Chi Minh City Open University.

The business school has 1,500 students attending the university, and 13,000 students enrolled through distance learning.

Associate Professor Daniel Laufer and Dr Jayne Krisjanous supervised Hoang during his PhD studies at SMIB.

According to Dr Laufer, "Hoang was a very hard-working student, and we are very proud of his success in Vietnam. Our PhD Programme has talented scholars from around the world, and Hoang is a great example."
