The Climate Change Research Institute joins the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences

The Climate Change Research Institute officially became part of the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences  on 1 July 2011. The physical move from the Pipitea Campus will take place in February 2012, when new offices on Cotton Level 1 will be refurbished. By then the Climate Change Research Institute’s new Director David Frame, and a new Senior Lecturer will have arrived to join Professor Martin Manning, Judy Lawrence, Liz Thomas (the Administrator) and Professor Peter Barrett, as part of the school.  Both the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, and the Climate Change Research Institute look forward to the move, especially the strengthening of both the research and teaching in this important field.”
