Profile

I completed a MA in Environmental Anthropology at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, in 2001. I have lived in Aotearoa since 2003 and have been working in various environmental and diversity and inclusion themed roles in government and not-for-profit sectors. My life journey has led me back to academic research and on 1 June 2021 I started my PhD with the Centre for Science in Society. I will be looking at human-plant relationships and entanglements of science and community in the context of Marlborough's podocarp forests, drawing on environmental anthropology, multispecies ethnology, and science and technology studies.
