Students must be enrolled in Religious Studies at Victoria University of Wellington.

Information

This prize is sponsored by the Embassy of Israel. It is offered to a student who submits the best essay on an aspect of religious life and thought in a course in Religious Studies. Topics include:

• 'the status quo' agreement and its implications for religious life in Israel
• the holy places and the State of Israel
• a focus on one or more specific religious communities in the State of Israel.
• or any additional topic to be agreed with the Embassy of Israel.

A copy of the winning essay may be provided to the Ambassador for Israel.

Recipients will be asked to write a letter of thanks, which will be forwarded appropriately.
