Eligibility

Students must be a Psychology graduate student who is at Honours level or above, and specialising in either integrative psychological theory or personality study.

Information

This prize was established in 2013 from a bequest made by Dr Ngaire Adcock, a former senior lecturer in Psychology at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. Dr Adcock was also the wife of Associate Professor Cyril John Adcock, who also taught Psychology at the University.

The prize is awarded to the best Psychology graduate student specialising in either integrative psychological theory or personality study.

The prize is awarded annually on the recommendation of the Head of School, Psychology, or their nominee.

Recipients are encouraged to purchase a book or books.

Recipients will be asked to write a letter of appreciation which will be forwarded appropriately.
