Elizabeth Stanley, Trevor Bradley and Sarah Monod de Froideville launch the Aotearoa Handbook of Criminology

The Aotearoa Handbook of Criminology represents a state-of-the-art account of crime and criminal justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is edited by Professor Elizabeth Stanley, Dr Trevor Bradley and Dr Sarah Monod de Froideville from the Institute of Criminology here at Victoria University of Wellington.

This research handbook is a real showcase of New Zealand Criminology in all its feminist, decolonizing and critical forms. With 32 chapters, written by 42 tremendous thinkers from across the country, this landmark text reflects a lively discipline with extensive reach into theory, policy, activism and practice.

The handbook is structured into four parts that explore the politics of researching and representing crime, key types of crime, the workings of criminal justice, and the differential experiences of crime and justice.
