Visual deficits in dyslexia: theoretical models and interventions.
Profile
Emma is interested in looking at dyslexia through the lens of cognitive neuropsychology. In doing so, her research aims test theoretical models of reading and dyslexia in the brain and mind. Her project primarily involves working with children and adolescents showing dyslexic reading patterns, developing tailored intervention techniques that she runs with each individual in one-on-one sessions. She hopes to continue to understanding more about reading, dyslexia and other development disorders.
