Colleen Ward has been invited to a small group meeting of about 30 international scholars who study immigration.  The meeting is organised by the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) and the Society of Australasian Social Psychologists (SASP), takes place in Ottawa and adjoins the Canadian Partners for Pathways to Prosperity conference which brings together researchers, government and voluntary organisations committed to improving settlement outcomes for new immigrants.

Colleen is the only researcher from New Zealand invited to attend and even better, she received a $2000  grant from UNESCO to partially fund her travel.
