The Wellington Jazz Club hosts this year's NZSM Combo Competition, featuring a range of student combos.

Prizes awarded by the Wellington Jazz Club: 1st place: $800 2nd place: $400 3rd place: $300.

Prizes also for Best First-year Combo, Best Original Composition and Best Arrangement.

The adjudicators this year will be: Jasmine Lovell-Smith, a composer and soprano saxophonist based in Wellington; jazz drummer, composer and band leader John Rae; and NZSM Jazz Programme Director Dave Wilson.
