Gabriela Glapska wins Wellington International Student Excellence Award
Gabriela, a pianist from Poland who is currently studying towards a PhD at the New Zealand School of Music, was one of twelve recipients of the awards.
The awards recognise the achievements and contributions of international students in the Wellington region. They were presented by Hon Paul Eagle MP at an awards ceremony held at Parliament on Friday 19 October 2018. The awards are given each year for various categories including academic excellence, creativity, sports, community engagement, leadership and alumni achievement. Gabriela received her award in the creativity category.
