Balamohan Shingade is a writer and curator employed as the assistant director of ST PAUL St Gallery at Auckland University of Technology.

Balamohan Shingade is a writer and curator employed as the assistant director of ST PAUL St Gallery at Auckland University of Technology.

He is a Masters graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, where he was employed as a professional teaching fellow, 2012-15. His research centres on artistic and curatorial practices of contemporary art, particularly as it relates to the religious traditions of Asia, theories of asceticism, community and political withdrawal, and the South Asian diaspora in New Zealand.
