| Legend has it that a yound admirer fell for the beauty of a woman named Sina from the village of Safune. He turned himself into an eel to join her as she was bathing. The eel amused Sina at first, but she was soon tired of it. When the eel realised that Sina didn't love him, he asked her to cutt off his head and plant it. From it grew a coconut tree to feed Sina and remind her of the face of her admirer. |
