Request an item during Alert Level 2
If you live outside Wellington then you can request a physical item and have it couriered to you or have a chapter emailed to you.
While we are in Alert Level 2 of the Covid-19 pandemic, those living outside of Wellington are able to request items from all of our Libraries using the Click and Courier service to help with individual study and research needs. We will be offering this service Monday to Friday
We can courier the items to you at your home if you live outside of Wellington, or have chapters of books scanned and emailed to you
How to request an item for Click and Courier
Please note that this service is only for those currently living outside of Wellington
Send an email to email@example.com.
The key details to include are:
- Your name
- Your ID number
- Your postal address including post code
and then the details of the item you would like:
- Call number
- Edition (if applicable)

Request a chapter from a book
If you would like a chapter of a book emailed to you, please include the chapter title/ page numbers in addition to the above information.
Provision of material will be supplied in accordance with the Copyright Act 1994.
Once the request has been processed
Once your request(s) have been processed, they will appear under “My Loans” in your Library account.
If you are collecting your books you will receive an email when they are available to pick up. The pick up location will be the Library you have selected. Libraries are open 10am -5pm Monday - Saturday
Note: There are delays with courier companies delivering packages.
