Wellington Heritage Week 2022

On Saturday 5 November, the University hosts Our Heritage Open Day celebrating the University's history through the buildings, archives, and art collections of our Kelburn campus. To highlight the University's rich history, our very own Heritage & Archives team has prepared a brief overview of the history of the heritage and archive collections, showcasing some of the materials we hold. The talk will touch on some collections that are currently being used for research, and on others that show how our people and research contribute to national issues and our broader New Zealand identity.

Registration (access to all events): Heritage Open Day (closed)

Talk: Emma Cullen, J.C. Beaglehole Room heritage and archives adviser

Place: J.C. Beaglehole Room, Level 4, Rankine Brown Building (access via the Hub), Gate 3, Kelburn Parade
