Library Services at Alert Level 3
At Alert Level 3 here is what you can access from the Library
As we move in to Alert Level 3 you are able to access the following from the Library
You can
- Research and study using our extensive digital resources, which include ebooks, articles, and online videos to name a few – if you need help getting started with searching or accessing digital resources, please contact us
- Contact us via email at library@vuw.ac.nz or your subject librarian directly
- Book a 1 on 1 appointment with a subject librarian
- Obtain copies of articles or chapters digitally from another library still operating
- Submit the electronic copy of your thesis and permission form – you do not need to submit the physical version at this time
- Limited study space at the Kelburn Library from 10am - 5pm. Bring your own device
- Request chapters of books that are only available in hard copy (for research and study purposes)
- Request books from the Kelburn Library or the Law Library that you can have couriered to you or collect from the Kelburn Library
You can’t
- Access library space at the Pipitea and Te Aro campuses
- Access books from the Commerce and Architecture and Design Library
- Call us by phone – currently the best way to contact us is via email
- Return books (if you have a book that is out on loan please hold on to it until we re-open – we are waiving all fines for this period)
- Submit the physical version of your thesis – we will accept physical copies in the future when it is appropriate to do so
- Obtain physical interloan items
- Order new hard-copy books
