Library Services at Alert Level 1
At Alert Level 1 most of our key services are back up and running, however there are a few key things you need to know.
The following opening hours are effective from Wednesday 10 June 2020:
The Kelburn campus library will be open Monday–Friday 8.00am–midnight.
Te Aro and Pipitea campus libraries will be open Monday–Friday 8.00am–midnight.
All libraries open 10am–10pm Saturday and Sunday.
Computers and printing services are available for your use, and Group Study rooms are available to book.

Library staff will be floating around so please do ask if you require any assistance
Library Books and Services
You can still continue to access our extensive digital collection for your research and assignment needs.
If you have a book you are welcome to return it to us. No rush on this though, just when you can.
We have resumed book purchasing. Please note that there may be shipping delays from our suppliers
Full Interloan services between New Zealand libraries is currently available.
- Books may take longer than usual to arrive due to mail delays
- International requests are currently limited to scanned journal articles and chapters only
The Click & Collect service will cease on Monday 15 June.
If your books are at another campus, you can get them delivered to your campus library using the Intersite Delivery Service
If you are currently living outside of the Wellington region, we can courier your books to you. If you are not a registered distance student, please email email@example.com with the following details:
- Your name
- Your ID number
- Your postal address including post code
and then the details of the item you would like:
- Call number
- Edition (if applicable)
This will continue to be online thesis deposit only.
