Flash new furniture
New furniture in two Library locations - plan for alternative study spaces.
New student study desks are being installed in two Library locations next week:
- 13-17 November, on Levels 5 and 6 of Kelburn Library
- 14-18 November, on Levels 1-3 of the Law Library
Also on Level 5 and 6 of Kelburn Library, we have been working on improving the area in front of the lifts. Last week, high trestle/leaner tables and stools were delivered and next week new sofas will be arriving. The larger heavier soft furniture currently there will be reupholstered, and one set will start a new life in TTR (School of Biological Sciences), the other set will be relocated to the north end of Level 6.
Recycled timber top tables are going into the Law Library.
