LALS academics acknowledged for contribution to sign language teaching
Congratulations to LALS staff Dr David McKee and Sara Pivac Alexander who received awards from the New Zealand Sign Language Teachers Association (NZSLTA) in August. David was awarded life membership by NZSLTA for his contribution to NZSLTA and NZSL teaching in the last 28 years, while Sara received the NZSLTA Values Award in recognition of her leadership and innovations in the NZSL teaching field.
