In November 2018, Dr. Saud Khan was invited as a panelist for a session on “Boosting Innovation in Start-ups & Entrepreneurship” at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The panel focused on the role of academic institutions, governments, and the private sector in fostering creativity and global economic growth.

The four-day event attracted 6000 invited participants from more than 100 countries in 18 discussion tracks, creating a platform to present ideas and share experiences. The format was designed to engage youth from around the globe, allowing them to express their views and recommend initiatives to decision makers. \

The final recommendations of each panel session were presented at the closing ceremony attended by the Egyptian President and other world leaders. The forum provided a chance to engage with top entrepreneurship policymakers as well as network with promising youth from the region.
