PSIR Doctoral Association

Find out about the members and activities of the Political Science and International Relations Doctoral Association.

The Political Science and International Relations Doctoral Association (PSIRDA) is founded to utilise the vast intellectual capital of the PSIR programme’s PhD community and to further enhance the accumulation of such capital, with the specific purpose of forging a robust and productive academic environment.

PSIRDA’s 3 primary missions are:

  1. To promote, professionally and academically, the university’s PSIR postgraduate programme in general, and its PhD candidates in particular
  2. To substantially increase PSIR PhD candidates’ rate of academic output, especially in terms of publications
  3. To encourage systematic academic debate within the postgraduate community via organising academic seminars, roundtables with domestic or international scholars and diplomatic figures, a PSIRDA journal, and panel discussions
