Parliamentary Interns successfully complete internship in the US Congress

Samantha O’Hara and Lydia Veltman, took part in the 2019-20 Congressional Internship Programme as interns, organised through the Political Science and International Relations Programme in cooperation with the NZ-US Council.

Samantha O’Hara and Lydia Veltman, took part in the 2019-20 Congressional Internship Programme as interns, organised through the Political Science and International Relations Programme in cooperation with the NZ-US Council. They successfully completed their internship in the US Congress. They were interns during an exceptionally interesting time in Washington and are congratulated on the successful completion of their internship in the US House of Representatives.

There are still places open in the 2020 Parliamentary Internship Programme (now in its 21st year). The programme is open to applications from postgraduate students enrolled in various programmes. Click here for more information.
