New Historians Conference: History: Lived and Imagined - Call for Papers
History tells us stories about who we are. We are living through them; we are imagining them. The 15th annual New Historians Conference asks how these stories are being told and how the past is being remembered.
The postgraduate students from the History programme at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington warmly invite submissions from current students and recent graduates, with the theme of History: Lived and Imagined in mind. Interdisciplinary contributions are especially welcome.
Presentations are to be 20 minutes long, with 10 minutes allowed for questions.
To register, please send an abstract (200 words) and brief biographical statement to email@example.com by 16 October 2020.
The format of the conference is yet to be decided, but we are planning for both a digital and in-person scenario that accommodates for possible COVID-19 restrictions.
