Description

The project is funded by Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga (NPM) Tautoko COVID-19 research activities. The aim of this research is to explore the koha of COVID for Māori – that is, how Māori wellbeing improved during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research will provide an in-depth analysis of the personal and whānau benefits of COVID-19 for Māori (albeit unexpected). A greater understanding of this narrative is crucial for tangibly demonstrating the value and positive impact of strong Māori relationships across whānau, hapū, Iwi and community settings for increased wellbeing.
