Join leading climate change scientist Professor James Renwick and New Zealand’s Minister for Climate Change Hon James Shaw for a conversation about climate change in New Zealand. They will discuss what is currently being done in our country to combat climate change, what more we can do in the future, and how COVID-19 may have changed things.
Professor Renwick and Minister Shaw will discuss their views and expertise on New Zealand’s climate change present and future for around 40 minutes before opening to the audience for further questions.

Speaker Bios
Hon James Shaw is the Minister for Climate Change, the Minister for Statistics, The Associate Minister of Finance and the Co-leader of the Green Party in New Zealand.
Professor James Renwick is a leading climate change scientist and Head of the School of Geography, Environmental and Earth Sciences at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
He was awarded the 2018 New Zealand Prime Minister's Science Prize for Communication by the Rt. Hon. Jacinda Ardern and is one of five Commissioners on New Zealand’s Climate Change Commission.
