Kirsten Patterson is a member and Chief Executive of the IoD where she also chairs the Commercial Committee. She is a qualified lawyer and Chartered Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand. She has extensive governance and leadership experience, and is actively involved in community initiatives.

Kirsten takes over the helm from Lyn Provost and the Ethical Leadership advisory board look forward to working with her to help steer the future and current works of the Chair. Karin Lasthuizen is delighted to have Kirsten and her wealth of expertise on board and expressed that the Chair is confident looking to the future and the Chair's second term.
