The Wellington Faculty of Engineering includes two research centres working on interactive media and high tech engineering.

Computational Media Innovation Centre (CMIC)

CMIC aims to enhance New Zealand’s interactive media ecosystem through user-oriented academic research in VR/AR, film, animation, FX, and gaming technologies.

The multidisciplinary Robinson Research Institute melds innovative engineering and applied physics to build advanced technologies for businesses worldwide.
