Your subject

The Bachelor of Design Innovation (BDI) degree is a three-year programme of full-time study. You can specialise in one of three design disciplines and have the unique opportunity to combine study in design with a minor in another discipline such as Psychology, Anthropology, Māori or Pacific Studies, Writing, Film or Media Studies. This provides an opportunity to configure your course of study to suit your individual interests and intended career.

The degree comprises a shared first year programme that includes all majors within the BDI, where you will take a total of 120 points consisting of prescribed core courses and courses prescribed by your chosen minor or elective courses. Your first year will be followed by two years of specialised study in one of the following majors:
