Gino Acevedo (Creative Art Director at Weta Digital) and Kristy Grant (Director of Miramar Creative) will talk about the importance of giving back, mentoring, and collaborating with people at all stages in their careers.

This event includes a special screening of Wellington ICT Graduate School's Master of Design Technology students' 2019-20 capstone short-films with a student panel hosted by Gino about their experiences with industry collaboration and professional growth.

This talk is a part of the Miramar Creative Centre series of talks. Miramar Creative Centre is a collaboration between Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington ICT Graduate School, and Miramar Creative Ltd which sits amongst the Weta group buildings on Park Road and offers unrivalled access to work experience and professional connections with New Zealand’s world-leading film, animation, and game design industries.
