Support during self-isolation

Information for students about resources available to support you during COVID-19 self-isolation.

During the Omicron outbreak, if you are self-isolating, you might need to reach out to friends and whānau to help you with things like groceries and other contactless deliveries.

You can also get support from the Student Volunteer Army Club and VUWSA.

Student Volunteer Army Club

Based at Te Herenga Waka, in partnership with New World supermarkets, through our service you can order your groceries online and we will collect and deliver these to you in a contactless way. Use the code ‘VUWISOLATION’ at checkout for free delivery.

VUWSA Community Pantry

The Community Pantry gives out food parcels to students who need them throughout the year. A limited supply of medical packs for COVID-19 are also available. Friends can collect on your behalf if you are isolating.
