Ayumi Kimura

Ayumi Kimura is currently an R&D manager at OLM Digital, where she managed JST CREST (Core Research for Evolutional Science and Technology initiated by Japan Science and Technology Agency) projects for over 10 years. In the projects, she promoted collaboration between academics and digital industries. She also worked for Joshibi University of Arts and Design (2016 June - 2017 May).

Ayumi has contributed to the international graphics community for many years. She is head of administration of ACM SIGGRAPH ASIA 2018. She is one of the co-founders of the ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Production Symposium (DigiPro). Prior to joining OLM Digital, she worked for Computer Graphic Arts Society (2000-2004), where she edited several textbooks on CG and image processing. Ayumi is an ACM SIGGRAPH member and co-authored a SIGGRAPH2016 Course.
