Technology developed by CMIC researchers and DreamFlux was used for the VR exhibition at CEATEC 2019 - "BanaDIVE - Mobile Suit Gundam The ORIGIN -RISING-"

The special VR "BanaDIVE - Mobile Suit Gundam The ORIGIN -RISING-" introduced the experiences of entering the Gundam world through the fusion of VR experience and 360° movies using mixed reality technology.

MR360 technology developed by CMIC researchers and DreamFlux was used for the VR exhibition of the BANDAI NAMCO Research and SUNRISE at the CEATEC 2019 (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies). Taking place at the Makuhari Messe exhibition complex in Chiba, Japan between October 15 and October 18. CEATEC is Japan's largest CPS(Cyber Physical System)/IoT(Internet of Things)-related trade show, the number of attendees this year was 144,491.

This year, based on the theme of “Future Entertainment”, BANDAI NAMCO group introduced The special VR experiences "BanaDIVE - Mobile Suit Gundam The ORIGIN -RISING-" introduced the experiences of entering the Gundam* world through the fusion of VR experience and 360° movies using mixed reality technology. Audience enjoyed the completely new experience, such as a TANK exploding in the Marunouchi office district in Tokyo.
