The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), as well as the China Scholarship Council are offering scholarships to study one year or one semester in China in 2014. Scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, medical insurance and a monthly living allowance.

The deadline to apply for Confucius Institute Scholarships is set on 15 April 2013. The deadline to apply for those offered by the Chinese Scholarship Council is set on 26 July 2013.
