Liu Lingzi and Liu Yaru from the Confucius Institute performed the classis Chinese opera ‘The Picture of Longevity’ at the Chinese Health and Wellbeing day organised by the Wellington Regional Asian Health Alliance. ‘The Picture of Longevity’ tells the story of Zhang Xiao’s spouse, a spoiled and mean character who causes tension and problems in the household of her husband.
