Alumni as Mentors programme

The Alumni as Mentors programme (AAM) connects final-year students with Victoria University of Wellington alumni who are experienced mentors in the workforce.

The Alumni as Mentors programme allows final-year students to connect with alumni in mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at helping students in their transition into work life.

The programme offers students the opportunity to improve their employability skills and understanding of the world of work. At the same time, it allows alumni—wherever they are—to enhance their personal and professional development, gain satisfaction from giving back, and connect in a meaningful way with the university community.

The Alumni as Mentors programme is a collaborative initiative of Wellington Careers and Employment and the Engagement and Alumni team.
