Corporate and Public Governance—Where to from here?

Information about the 2008 Corporate and Public Governance conference.

27–29 November 2008

Corporate and public governance have both been the subject of major reform. Nevertheless, events such as the 2008 global financial crisis and dissatisfaction with the performance of governments demonstrate that significant challenges remained in 2008.

This conference reviewed the reforms to date, considered governance issues at the intersection of public and private entities such as in public private partnerships and addressed how the structure and processes of governance might be further reshaped to achieve better outcomes for stakeholders.
