Seminar Overview

This seminar will explore research undertaken by the Chair in Digital Government at Te Herenga Waka ̶ Victoria University of Wellington, which contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages) and Sustainable Development Goal 10 (Reduce inequality within and among countries). In particular, two recent research initiatives will be presented: research into understanding and explaining the digital inclusion and exclusion of senior citizens, including recommendations on how to encourage digital inclusion; and research on the effects of COVID-19 on digital public services.

Professor Miriam Lips

Professor Miriam Lips is the Chair in Digital Government at Victoria University of Wellington and is based in the School of Government. More information about her research can be found on the Chair’s website.
